if you haven’t tried a mandoline – you don’t know what you are missing. this is the handiest with a double-quick double-edged seriously sharp stainless steel blade.
cuts perfect thin even slices (1/8-inch) of just about anything. shred cabbage & slice potatoes, carrots, zucchini, fennel cucumber, lemons, tomatoes…
safety features include hand guard, which doubles as blade protector for storage, & a soft grip nonslip handle & feet.
dishwasher safe but should just need a swish in warm soapy water.
