got 20 mins to spare?  homemade beetroot jam... yummo!

can of beetroot chopped (or whizzed)
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup balsamic vinegar

bring to the boil, then simmer for 15minutes.

store in one of our weck glass perserving jars.

perfect with soft cheese.

guaranteed to make you feel smug & kitchengeek-ish.
